Welcome to my blog!

I am an 8th grade English teacher within the Regional School District 17 system at Haddam-Killingworth Middle School in Killingworth, CT.

I am a certified middle grades English teacher as well as a 7-12 business education teacher. I attended Holy Names University in Oakland, CA; graduated from Anna Maria College, Paxton, MA with a degree in Business Administration/Marketing and English. I am currently attending St. Joseph College, West Hartford, CT pursuing an MA degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

I have been marrried to my college sweetheart for 21 years. We have three totally terrific children: Matt is 20; Paxton is 14; Bradford is 12. I enjoy their company and their many interests.

My dedication to children begins with my own, and ends with my 100+ students each year. I try to live each day in the wisdom of Gandhi, "be the change you wish to see in the world..."
